Abuse & security
Reporting abuse and security issues
Send reports to abuse@hbing.uk. Reports that include full technical detail can be investigated immediately; reports without evidence may need a follow-up before we can act.
What to report
Network abuse
Port scanning, brute-force attempts, spam, malware distribution or any traffic sourced from our address space that breaches our Acceptable Use Policy.
Security reports
Vulnerabilities in our website, customer portal or public services. Please do not test against customer servers — they are operated by our customers, not by us.
Copyright complaints
Alleged infringing material hosted on a customer service. Include the work concerned, the exact URL or IP address, and a statement of your authority to act.
Law enforcement
Formal requests should be sent on letterhead from an official address and identify the legal basis for the request.
How we handle reports
Reports are logged and forwarded to the customer responsible for the address space. Where activity breaches our Acceptable Use Policy, we require it to stop and may suspend the service. We reply to the address the report was sent from. We do not publish a committed response window.
